Delete your Spacenda account
Delete in the app
- Sign in and open Settings → Delete account. If your email is unverified, use the deletion option on the verification screen.
- Transfer ownership of any Space that has other members to another current member. You can do this from the deletion flow even if that Space is locked.
- Request the deletion code sent to your account email.
- Enter the code and your current password, then confirm deletion.
If you are the only member of an owned Space, that Space and all its contents are deleted with your account. Spaces with other members must have another owner first.
What is removed
Deletion removes your account and credentials, sessions, registered notification devices, memberships, attendance responses, associated invitations, and Spacenda’s subscription records for your account. It also removes events and recurring series you created, and comments you wrote, including in Spaces owned by other people. Deleting an event removes its comments, RSVPs, and reminder deliveries.
Other members’ events remain in Spaces that survive deletion. Copies held by other members, such as screenshots, are outside Spacenda’s control. Live database deletion does not automatically erase provider records or existing database backups. Restricted records containing only the identifiers needed to reapply deletion are kept separately until affected backups expire, plus a safety margin. They contain no email, password or calendar content. See our privacy policy for retention details.
If your request is accepted while deletion is still being completed, the app signs you out and explains that completion is pending. The request continues even if a reply is lost or a database retry is needed.
Cancel Premium separately
Cancel any active subscription in its original Apple App Store or Google Play account before deleting your account. Account deletion does not cancel store billing. Purchases cannot be transferred to a new Spacenda account.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@spacenda.com with the subject Spacenda account deletion and identify your account email. Support will verify account control before processing a request. Never send your password or verification codes by email.
You can use password recovery if you cannot sign in. Contact support if you cannot access your account email.
