Terms of service

Spacenda and your account
Spacenda helps people coordinate through private shared calendars called Spaces. Contact support@spacenda.com with questions.
You must be at least 18 years old and reside in the United States to create or use a Spacenda account. Do not create accounts for children or let another person use your account to bypass this requirement.
Registration requires your age and residency confirmations, agreement to the terms, and acknowledgment that you have read the privacy policy. We record the policy versions and the time of that confirmation. These are self-confirmations, not independent age or residency verification.
Use accurate account information, protect your password, and share only information you have permission to share. Email verification is required before creating or joining a Space. Contact support if you believe your account has been compromised.
Spaces and shared content
Content you add to a Space is available to members who have access to it. Space ownership and app permissions determine which actions members can perform. Be considerate of other members and do not use Spacenda for unlawful activity, harassment, unauthorized access, or attempts to bypass service safeguards.
You retain your rights in content you submit. To operate the calendar, Spacenda needs permission to store, process, and display that content to authorized members and to use the service providers described in the privacy policy. This permission is limited to providing and securing the service, not advertising or training AI.
Illegal activity
You must comply with applicable laws when using Spacenda. You may not use the service to engage in, plan, coordinate, promote, or facilitate illegal activity, or to encourage or assist others in doing so. This prohibition applies to Spaces, invitations, events, comments, and all other uses of the service, including content shared privately with other members.
You may not share illegal content or use Spacenda for fraud, stalking, unlawful threats, exploitation, or unauthorized access to accounts or systems. Violations may result in content removal, restricted access, account suspension, or account termination as described below.
Acceptable use and enforcement
Do not use Spacenda to threaten, harass, exploit, impersonate, or defraud others; share unlawful content or content that violates another person’s privacy or rights; publish hateful or sexually exploitative material; send spam; or compromise the service or another person’s account. These rules apply to event titles, descriptions, comments, Space names, and other text you share, even though the app does not support attachments.
We may restrict or suspend access, remove violating content, or terminate accounts when needed to address violations, protect users or the service, or comply with law. Contact support to report abuse or ask about an enforcement action. Removing a member from a Space does not replace these service-wide rules or prevent support from investigating a report. Account suspension or termination does not automatically cancel a store subscription; manage it through the original store.
Free and Premium
Free accounts may belong to one Space total, whether created or joined. Premium allows unlimited Spaces. The offered plans are USD $7 monthly or $60 annually, with no trial. The store shows the applicable local price and taxes before purchase.
Premium is purchased through Apple or Google and renews automatically unless cancelled under that store’s subscription terms. Manage renewals, cancellations, and refund requests through the original store. Mandatory consumer rights and the store’s applicable policies continue to apply.
A purchase is bound to the original Spacenda account. It cannot be reassigned to another account. Deleting an account or uninstalling the app does not cancel store billing.
When Premium expires while you have multiple memberships, you must choose one active Space to continue on Free. Other memberships stay saved but locked, including reminders. Retained memberships still count toward create/join limits. Switching the Free selection requires leaving the active Space; ownership restrictions still apply. Restoring verified Premium restores access to retained Spaces.
Reminders and availability
Reminders depend on network connectivity, device settings, and third-party notification services. Delivery and timing are not guaranteed. Keep another way to track plans where a missed reminder would have serious consequences.
Maintenance, outages, and store or notification-service interruptions can affect access. Subscription access depends on verified store status. These statements do not remove any rights you have under applicable law.
Account deletion
You may delete your account using the app or request help through support. Transfer owned Spaces with other members first. Sole-member owned Spaces are deleted. Deletion also removes your authored events and comments, including those in other people’s Spaces. Other members’ events survive in retained Spaces. See account deletion for details, including backup limitations and separate subscription cancellation.
Store terms and privacy
The relevant app store’s purchase and platform terms also apply. If distributed without a custom Apple EULA, Apple’s standard application license agreement applies to the iOS application as provided by Apple. These service terms are not presented as a custom replacement EULA.
Our privacy policy describes how we collect, use, retain, and protect your information.
Changes to these terms
We will update this page and its effective date when these terms change. For material changes, we will email users with active accounts at their account email address. Any additional notice or consent required by applicable law will still apply.
